DENVER, CO. -- Rookie Anrdew Wiggins set a personal record for points in the Minnesota Timberwolves' 113-105 win against the Nuggets in Denver on Saturday night.

Wiggins scored a career-high 31 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lead the Wolves to their seventh win of the season.

The Wolves started the game on fire - scoring 37 points in the first quarter, but cooled off a bit for the rest of the first half by only scoring 19 in the second quarter.

Thaddeus Young ended a bit of a personal slump by scoring 22 points - the first time he has scored in the 20's since December 26th.

Robbie Hummel notched a double-double (15 points, 13 rebounds) in a starting role as Shabazz Muhammad remains unavailable with an oblique injury.

The win is the Minnesota's second in three games and will hope the momentum carries into Monday's game in Charlotte against the Hornets.
