Rocori Spartans Win Section Championship

The Rocori Spartans and the Detroit Lakers faced off in the Section 8 4A Championship Friday evening. The defense dominated most of the first half for both teams, but a late first half Touchdown by Ben Nordmark, of the Lakers, gave them the 6-0 lead heading into halftime.

Alex Budde, of the Rocori Spartans, rushed for a 45 yard Touchdown which gave the Spartans the lead early on in the 4th quarter. After the Lakers turned it over their following drive, Alex Budde rushed for another Touchdown to give the Spartans the lead 14-6. After another Lakers turnover, Alex Budde rushed for a 77 yard Touchdown, his 3rd of the game.
