Rocori Recap: Spartans vs. Crusaders

The Rocori Spartans came away with a close 61-54 win over the Cathedral Crusaders Saturday in Cold Spring. After a late basket just before the buzzer sounded, the Crusaders took a 30-29 lead at the half. The Spartans answered at the start of the second half and the two teams exchanged leads throughout the rest of the game. The Spartans regained the lead with just over 2 minutes left in the game and were able to hang on for the win. Jonah Eisenschenk led all scorers with 20 points and was the player of the game. The Spartans moved their record to 13-8 on the season and the Crusaders fell to 17-6. Next up for the Spartans is a game against Fergus Falls on Tuesday at 7:30
