The St. Cloud River Bats lost 7-3 in the first of 2 7-inning games at Joe Faber Field in St. Cloud against Rochester before beating the Honkers 6-0 in the nightcap.  St. Cloud managed just 3 hits in the first game and Jake Smith allowed 3 earned runs in 1 inning to take the loss.  Bryan Haar had 2 hits for the Bats.

In game 2 St. Cloud scored 3 runs in the 4th inning and added 2 more runs in the 5th inning.  Jeremy Banks went 2-3 with a run scored and 2 RBIs and Kyle Stiner went 3-4 with a run scored and 1 RBI for the Bats.  Michael Fagan threw 5 2/3 innings with 1 hit allowed and no runs with 9 strikeouts to get the win.

St. Cloud is 15-11 in the 2nd half of the season and is 2 1/2 games back of Alexandria for first place in the 2nd half North Division standings.  St. Cloud will host Alexandria at 7:05 tonight.  It's Twins Night at the ballpark tonight.  A lucky River Bats fan will win a Twins Spring Training trip to Fort Myers, Florida tonight.
