The St. Cloud River Bats snapped a 2-game losing streak with a 5-3 win over Mankato Wednesday night.  St. Cloud scored 3 first inning runs and 2 more runs in the 4th inning.  Bryan Haar had a 2-run triple and Jeremy Banks was 2-4 with a run and 1 RBI for the Bats.

Jake Smith started the game and threw 7 innings with 8 hits and 3 earned runs allowed to get the win.  Travis Unthank threw a scoreless 9th inning to get the save.

St. Cloud is 13-18 and will host Brainerd tonight in a doubleheader beginning at 6:05, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 5:35.  Tonight's game will feature two 7-inning games and will make up for a previous rain-out.
