The St. Cloud River Bats defeated Mankato 6-4 Wednesday night in their first game back after the Northwoods League All Star break.  St. Cloud scored 2 runs in the 2nd inning and added 3 runs in the 9th inning.  Andy Henkemeyer went 4-6 with a run scored, Derek Campbell added 2 hits and 3 RBIs and Michael Williams had 2 hits and 2 runs scored for St. Cloud.  Jon Richard threw 6 innings with 2 hits and 1 earned run allowed to get the win for the Bats.

St. Cloud is 7-6 in the 2nd half of the season and is 1 game back of Alexandria for first place in the 2nd half North Division standings.  The Bats play at Mankato again tonight at 7:05, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:35.
