Really? Are You Really Too Busy?

Don’t you just love it when you ask someone to do a task and they give you a ten minute explanation of why they don’t have time? I had this happen to me last week and it took everything I had not to punch this guy in the gut.

I’m a go, go, go type person. I want things done now and I want things done fast so nothing is more annoying to me than excuses.

He went on and on about how he was too busy to get to my request and just didn’t have time because he had to do this and had to do that. When the excuses finally ended, I lowered the gun from my head, looked at the clock and ten minutes had gone by. I simply replied with, “But you certainly had time for that little gem of a story, didn’t you?”

“What do you mean?”

Of course he didn't get it. I’m still waiting for his head to pop out of his ass.
