Rangers Beat Twins in 10 Innings
Nelson Cruz had the walk-off RBI double in the 10th inning to lift Texas past Minnesota 4-3 Saturday night. Kyle Waldrop gave up 2 hits and 1 earned run in the 10th to take the loss. Sam Deduno started the game for the Twins and allowed 6 hits and 3 earned runs in 5 1/3 innings but didn't get a decision.
Justin Morneau and Ryan Doumit were each 2-4 with 1 run scored for the Twins. Minnesota falls to 36-48 and will wrapup the 3-game series in Texas tonight at 6:05, pregame on WJON at 5:35. Righthander Cole DeVries (2-1) will pitch for the Twins and righthander Roy Oswalt (2-1) toes the rubber for the Rangers.
