MOORHEAD -- Four touchdown passes by St. Cloud State's Nate Meyer led the Huskies to a decisive, 55-27 win against Minnesota State-Moorhead Saturday.

The sophomore passed for a career-high 347 yards and also added 25 yards on the ground and scored on two touchdown runs as well.

The game started to look like a shootout early, as the two teams combined to put 34 points on the scoreboard in the first quarter.

The teams exchanged scores in the third quarter before SCSU took off.

Tied at 27-27, the Huskies scored 28 unanswered points in the final 18 minutes, including a touchdowns by Meyer - one on the ground, the other through the air to Matt Hentges.

Grant Thayer slammed the door on any hope Moorhead had left, as he recovered a Dragons fumble in the endzone to give SCSU a 48-27 lead.

Running back Ledell White added a cherry-on-top touchdown run a few minutes later to make the lead 55-27.

With the win, the Huskies improve to 3-4 and will travel to Aberdeen, S.D. next weekend to play Northern.
