Viking running back Adrian Peterson says he'll play Sunday when the Vikings host New Orleans Sunday at noon, pregame on WJON at 11am.  Peterson has missed the last 3 games with a high ankle sprain in his left ankle.  He joked Thursday that he's been getting pressured by fans on Twitter who want him back to help their fantasy football teams.  Peterson was limited in practice Thursday.

Quarterback Christian Ponder for a 2nd straight day was a full participant in practice despite a hip pointer injury.  He's expected to start against the Saints.

The Vikings are 7-point underdogs against New Orleans.  The game reached sellout status Wednesday and will be broadcast on local television.  The Vikings are 2-11 while New Orleans is 10-3.
