Peterson Has Torn Meniscus

Viking Head Coach Mike Zimmer has indicated that Running Back Adrian Peterson has  torn Meniscus and has no timetable for his return. Peterson suffered the injury in the Vikings 17-14 win over the Packers Sunday night.

The injury is to his right knee. Heven tore the ACL in his left knee a couple of years ago. Typical recovery time from a torn meniscus ranges from 3 weeks to 3 months.
