Peoria Defeats Granite City 5-2

PEORIA - Nathan Chasteen picked up a hat trick as the Peoria Mustangs took down the Granite City Lumberjacks 5-2 on Saturday.

The Lumberjacks put up 43 shots on goal in the action but were only able to score twice. Nick Haase and Roy Grandov both scored for Granite City. Goalie Scott Murray made 12 saves.

Granite City will look to get revenge against Peoria during game two of their series. Puck drop is set for 1:15 p.m. on Sunday.
