The Orioles scored runs in five of the first six innings Sunday in a 6-0 shutout of the Twins at Target Field. Minnesota finished the game 0-9 with runners in scoring position.

Scott Diamond struggled on the mound for the Twins, allowing six runs on 11 hits and three walks in just 5.2 innings. Chris Davis hit a two-run homer off Diamond in the top of the first for the eventual game-winning runs, one of three home runs allowed by Diamond on the afternoon.

Wei-Yin Chen got the win for Baltimore with five shutout innings of five hit, three strikeout ball. Four relievers combined to finish the blanking.

The Twins are now 17-17 on the season and will host the White Sox for three games beginning Monday at Target Field. First pitch Monday is scheduled for 7:10, with Pedro Hernandez on the hill for the Twins and Hector Santiago pitching for the White Sox.
