Replacement referree Ken Roan worked the Vikings/49ers game in Minnesota Sunday and admitted he mistakenly awarded 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh two challenges after the coach had called his last timeout on Sunday.  The Vikings were trying to run out the clock when Toby Gerhart fumbled on 3rd down.  The 49ers used their final timeout and then were awarded a challenge and given their timeout back.

The 49ers challenged a 2nd Gerhart fumble but lost that challenge because Gerhart clearly recovered it.  Replacement officials have been under fire by fans, coaches and players since the season began.

The Vikings won 24-13 at home against San Francisco Sunday to improve to 2-1.  Minnesota will play at Detroit Sunday at noon, pregame on WJON at 11am. Hear more from Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier today at 12:35 on AM 1390-the Fan.
