The Minnesota Timberwolves fell to 21-38 on the season with a 111-88 loss in Denver. The Nuggets outscored the Wolves 61-39 in the second half.
Mickael Gelabale led Minnesota with 19 points and JJ Barea had 15 in the losing effort.
Ty Lawson, once drafted by the Wolves and traded to Denver on draft night, scored 32 points to lead the Nuggets.
