National League Wins All Star Game

The National League beat the American League 5-1 Tuesday night in Phoenix, Arizona.  Prince Fielder hit a 3-run homerun to lead the National League to the win.  Lone Twins representative Michael Cuddyer played the last 3 innings at first base and flied out to right field in the 9th inning in his lone at-bat.

The Twins are off today and will host Kansas City Thursday night beginning a 4-game series and 11-game homestand at 7:10, pregame on WJON at 6:40.  Minnesota is 6 1/2 games back of Detroit for first place in the American League Central.
