MINNEAPOLIS - The University of Maryland terrapins pulled off the 31-24 upset on the road against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

Maryland had their way with the Gophers defense all afternoon. The Terrapins rushed for 262 yards and 3rd string quarterback Max Borternschlager, managed the game well and threw two touchdowns and rushed for one.

Minnesota rushed for just 80 yards on 31 carries.

Gophers starting quarterback Connor Rhoda, threw for 229 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

Minnesota had a chance late in the game to tie, but Rhoda interception sealed the loss for the Gophers.
