The Minnesota Lynx defeated Phoenix 105-83 Sunday afternoon in their season opener.  The Lynx received their WNBA championship rings before the game in a ceremony.  Seimone Augustus led the Lynx with 19 points, Monica Wright added 15 points and both Lindsay Whalen and Maya Moore had 13 points apiece.

The Lynx shot 57 percent from the field while Phoenix shot 40 percent.  Minnesota will play at New York Tuesday night at 6pm.
