The Vikings have the 12th overall pick in Thursday night's NFL draft.  Most experts thought quarterback Jake Locker of Washington would be a reach for them with the 12th pick but now Locker may be gone when the Vikings pick.  Both Tennessee and Washington are reportedly interested in taking Locker.  Tennessee has the 8th pick while Washington has the 10th pick.  The Vikings have been linked to Locker despite concerns of his accuracy problems.  Minnesota may have to focus on taking a player from a different position with the 12th pick, trade down or consider Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallett.  The Vikings could take a quarterback with their 2nd round pick (43rd overall) although the top 6 quarterbacks could be off the board by the time the Vikings pick in the 2nd round.  Locker to the Vikings fans may need to start thinking about Christian Ponder or Andy Dalton.  The Vikings could always tank the season and give themselves a chance to draft Andrew Luck next year.
