Last night's no-hitter for Francisco Liriano came as a shock to everyone. He had been horrible for the first month of the season, and was on the brink of losing his rotation spot. Liriano walked six, but held the White Sox line up hit-less, and got his first complete game and shut out in the process. The six walks are still a little concerning, but he did look like he had more command of his pitches, as most of his misses came low in the zone. You can live with that as a coach/fan because you won't get killed down in the zone. This is the type of outing that can change things around for the Twins, and they could use that in the worst way. At 10-18 this isn't a cure all for the team. They still only managed one run in the game, and continue to hit like a triple-A squad. But, for one night we can all be happy and forget about our woe's.
