The Rox rallied late for an 8-2 win over the Blue Anchors Thursday night at Knute Nelson Memorial Park in Alexandria. The win improves St. Cloud to 7-2 on the season and puts them into a first-place tie with the Rochester Honkers.

The Rox trailed 1-0 heading into the sixth inning before a four-run rally gave them the lead for good. Webb Bobo singled home Liam Bedford with two outs to tie the game before Toby Hanson's two-run single gave St. Cloud a 3-1 lead. Jake Farr capped the rally with a RBI double.

Joe Tietjen was 1-2 with a solo home run for St. Cloud, and Farr ended the game 4-5 to pace the Rox offense.

St. Cloud will host Rochester for a two game series at Joe Faber Field beginning Friday night. First pitch on AM 1390 The Fan is scheduled for 7:05.
