The Twins and Indians were deadlocked at 1-1 Sunday afternoon at Progressive Field until a solo home run from Drew Stubbs in the bottom of the eighth inning propelled Cleveland to a 3-1 win.

Jared Burton gave up both runs in the eighth inning to take the loss. Mike Pelfrey walked six batters in only five innings in his start for the Twins and receive a no decision.

The Twins again were putrid with runners in scoring position, batting just 3-19 in those situations.

Minnesota will host the reeling Kansas City Royals at Target Field for a series beginning Tuesday night.
