Federal Judge Susan Nelson of Minnesota denied the NFL's request to put this week's lockout ruling on hold.  The league wanted a "stay" to keep the lockout in place until their appeal is heard.  They were denied that which means players will continue to have access to team facilities including the ability to workout.  The NFL fiscal has not yet begun and it's unclear when that will happen.  No timetable for the beginning of NFL free agency has been announced either.
