The Twins lost 4-3 in 10 innings Thursday afternoon at Cleveland.  Casey Kotchman singled in the game-winning run in the 10th off Twins reliever Anthony Swarzak.  Swarzak takes the loss.  Trevor Plouffe was 2-4 with a solo homerun and Pedro Florimon was 1-2 with a run scored.

Esmerling Vasquez started the game for the Twins and threw 5 2/3 innings with 3 earned runs allowed.  The Twins take 2 of 3 from Cleveland this week and are now tied with Cleveland for 4th place in the American League Central.  Minnesota begins a 3-game series at Detroit at 6:05 Friday night, pregame on WJON at 5:35.
