Husky Hockey Merchandise a Hot Item Around St. Cloud [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD - St. Cloud State is in the Frozen Four for the first time in school history. To celebrate, Husky fans are buying up any and all hockey apparel. Merchandise from t-shirts and sweatshirts to hockey pucks are hot items at area stores.

Linda Cooper is the customer service manager at the Husky Bookstore on campus. She says it's not just students that are doing all the shopping.

The campus is buzzing with Husky spirit. Cooper says she is noticing an excitement in the store.

With so much demand, the store is placing t-shirt orders every two days. Cooper says in all her time working for the store, she has never seen merchandise sold so quickly.

The Huskies take Quinnipiac at 7 p.m. Thursday in Pittsburgh. You can hear the game live on our sister station, AM 1390 The Fan.
