ST. PAUL - St. Cloud State is off to a 3-0 start this season after beating No. 25 ranked Concordia-St. Paul in dominating fashion 34-3 Saturday night.

The No. 23-ranked Huskies wasted no time on offense, scoring on five of their six first half drives, and going into halftime with a 31-0 lead.

The Huskies had 437 total yards of offense, while limiting the Golden Bears to 206 yards.

Phillip Klaphake ran in the first touchdown of the game, the senior quarterback also threw for two touchdowns and finished 20 for 31 passing on the day.

Safety Jack Moro continued to close in on the all time SCSU interceptions record, getting his 16th career interception during the action. Moro is now just three interceptions away from tying the SCSU record of 19.

St. Cloud State will come home next week and host Augustana College on Saturday at 6 p.m.
