ST. CLOUD -- The SCSU Huskies men's hockey team suffered their second consecutive overtime loss - this time to the Duluth Bulldogs, 3-2.

The Huskies dropped their previous game in overtime to the Gophers at Mariucci Arena.

SCSU fell behind 2-0 heading into the final period before scoring two goals to send it to overtime.

Jonny Brodzinski got the Huskies on the scoreboard with a power play goal about three minutes into the third period.

Freshman forward Patrick Russell picked a good time to score his first collegiate goal, midway through the final period to tie the game.

Just two minutes into overtime, a goal by Bulldogs forward Cal Decowski sealed the victory for the UMD squad.

With the loss, the Huskies fall to 3-4 on the season and 0-1 in the NCHC.

SCSU will look to even the score in a rematch against the Bulldogs in Duluth tonight (Saturday) at 7:00 p.m.
