ST. CLOUD -- SCSU's Men's Hockey team was swept in their two-game series with #17-ranked UMD this weekend following a 3-1 loss Saturday night.

The loss marks the third in a row for the #6/7 Huskies who have not won since beating the Minnesota Golden Gophers 4-3 in St. Cloud last Friday.

The Huskies' hopes to get off the schneid were dashed by two first period goals by Duluth.

SCSU forward Joey Benik brought the Huskies back to within one with a goal in the second period, but Duluth scored again in the third to effectively ice the game.

With the loss, the Huskies fall to 3-5 on the season and will look to rebound as they travel to Kalamazoo to take on Western Michigan on Friday.
