ST. CLOUD - The St. Cloud State Huskies (39-16, 27-11 NSIC lost 4-2 to the Minnesota State Mavericks (44-9, 35-5 NSIC) in the Northern Sun Championship game.

The Huskies would go down 1-0 in the 2nd inning, but would tie the game at one in the 4th inning when Huskies Catcher Bo Schmitz knocked in Judd Davis.

One inning later MSU scored a run to reacquire their one run lead. In the 7th inning MSU would take on two more runs and go up 4-1 before the Huskies score another run.

The Huskies will not wait to hear about seeding for the NCAA Division II Regional Tournament.
