High School Football Preview; Tech at Apollo [AUDIO][Predictions)

Tonight is Week 7 of the High School Football Regular season and the featured matchup in the St. Cloud area is Tech at Apollo at 7pm.  The Tigers are 3-3 after are coming off back to back loses where they've lead in the 4th quarter.  Apollo is coming off a 9-6 win at Sauk Rapids-Rice.  The win snapped a 22-game losing streak for the school.

Tech Head Coach Gregg Martig talks about the matchup. 

Tech is led by running back Jacob Peterson.  Peterson became the all-time leader rusher in Tech Football history by running for more than 200 yards against Sartell last week.  Apollo head coach Justin Skallerud talks about slowing down Peterson. 

Elsewhere tonight Willmar plays at Sartell-St. Stephen.  The Sabres are 5-1 coming off a 21-20 win over Tech last week.  Sauk Rapids-Rice plays at Bemidji tonight at 7pm.  The Storm are 1-5.  Storm head coach Bill Magnuson talks about going to Bemidji. 

Rocori is 4-2 but is coming off back to back loses and they will play a tough Monticello team at home tonight at 7pm, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:45.  Rocori head coach Mike Rowe talks about getting back on track. 

Cathedral is 3-3 and is coming off a win at Milaca last Friday night.  The Crusaders will host Mora at SCSU tonight at 7pm.  Cathedral head coach Dean Taylor talks about winning close games.
