Hawkeyes Easily Handle Gophers Tuesday

The Iowa Hawkeyes beat the Minnesota Golden Gophers men's basketball team 94-80 Tuesday night at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The Gophers have lost seven of their past eight games to fall to 14-10 on the season.

Jordan Murphy led Minnesota with 21 points and 17 rebounds, while Isaiah Washington 15 points and seven assists.

The Gophers will play at #24 Michigan Saturday afternoon. Tip-off is set for 1:30 p.m. on AM 1240 WJON.
