Granite City Takes Down Breezy Point 9-2

PEQUOT LAKES - Aidan Verbeke picked up a hat trick as the Granite City Lumberjacks took down the Breezy Point North Stars 9-2 yesterday.

The Lumberjacks put a total of 55 shots on goal. Christian Mohs, Zach Voss, Brady Berhardson, Michell Gwost, Hunter Schneider, and Aaron Storch all scored for Granite City for the win.

Scott Murray picked up 28 saves in front of the net for the Lumberjacks.

Granite City will return home Friday night to take on the Minnesota Flying Aces. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m.
