Granite City Lumberjacks Defeat Breezy Point 8-1

SAUK RAPIDS - The Granite City Lumberjacks got an impressive win over the Breezy Point North Stars yesterday with a final score of 8-1.

Aidan Verbeke had a great game for the Lumberjacks, getting two goals and two assists in the win.

The Lumberjacks penalty kill was impressive, giving up no goals despite six power plays.

Breezy Point couldn't get much of anything going against Granite City, getting only 14 shots off against the Lumberjacks defense.

Granite City's Scott Murray stopped all 13 shots that he faced.

Granite City also got goals from Brady Berhardson, Travis Kothenbeutel, Drew Otto, Jordan Keller, and Aaron Storch in the win.
