The Minnesota Gophers improved to 18-7 on the season with a 58-53 overtime victory over  #20 Wisconsin at WIlliams Arena on Thursday. Andre Hollins led the Gophers with 21 points but shot just 5-16 from the floor.

Wisconsin (17-8, 8-4) led 24-22 at the half. Sam Dekker led the Badgers in scoring with 14 points.

Minnesota (18-7, 6-6) is currently in sixth place in the Big Ten Conference. The Gophers trail Michigan State and Indiana by two games, and Michigan, Ohio State and Wisconsin by two games.

Minnesota is at ninth place Iowa Sunday afternoon.
