EAST LANSING - The Minnesota Golden Gophers couldn't get the ball into the end-zone and fell the the Michigan State Spartans 14-3 to wrap up the regular season.
The Gophers finish with an 8-4 overall record this year.

Quarterback Philip Nelson went 6/18 for 77 yards and two interceptions. David Cobb picked up 101 yards off of 27 carries.

The Spartans finish the season with an 11-1 record and a perfect 8-0 in the Big Ten. Michigan State will take on Ohio State for the championship next week.
