The Gophers men's basketball team lost 78-68 at home against #6 Ohio State Tuesday night.  Ohio State ran off 20 straight points when the game was tied at 12.  Minnesota rallied to cut the lead to 12 points at halftime and the Gophers would get as close as 8 points in the 2nd half.  Rodney Williams led the Gophers with 21 points and 9 rebounds and Julian Welch added 11 points and 9 assists.

Minnesota committed 14 turnovers compared to 9 turnovers for the Buckeyes.  The Gophers are 17-9 overall and 5-8 in the Big Ten.  Minnesota will play at Northwestern at 6pm Saturday night, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 5:30.
