Gopher Women’s Basketball Downs Illinois

The Gopher men's basketball team downed Illinois 60-53 Thursday night.  Rachel Banham led the Gophers with 19 points and Kiara Buford had 12 points.  The Gophers shot 43 percent while Illinois shot 32 percent.  Minnesota is 14-14 overall and 6-8 in the Big Ten.  Last night was the final home game and Senior Night for the Gophers.

The Gophers play at #11 Ohio State at 7pm Thursday night.
