Gopher Men’s Basketball Downs Siena
The Gopher men's basketball team defeated Siena 76-69 Monday night to improve to 2-0 this season.
Blake Hoffarber led the Gophers with 16 points, Ralph Sampson III added 13 points and Trevor Mbakwe added 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Minnesota will play in a tournament in San Juan, Puerto Rico Thursday at 6:30pm against Western Kentucky.
The Gophers will play either Hofstra or #8 North Carolina Friday.
