Gopher Hoops Beats #11 Ohio State Thursday

The Minnesota Golden Gopher men's basketball team earned a "signature victory" Thursday night with a 63-53 win over #11 Ohio State at Williams Arena.

Elliott Eliason led the Gophers with 12 points and 13 rebounds, and Deandre Mathieu added 13 points on 5-8 shooting with five assists.

Ohio State forward LaQuinton Ross led the Buckeyes with 22 points.

The Gophers improve to 14-4 with the win and are now 3-2 in Big Ten Conference play. Minnesota plays at rival Iowa on Sunday afternoon.
