The Gopher football team defeated Miami-Ohio 29-23 Saturday afternoon at TCF Bank Stadium.  The win gives new head coach Jerry Kill his first win with the Gophers.  He suffered a seizure last Saturday near the end of the game in the loss to New Mexico State.  Marguis Gray threw for 163 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 171 yards to lead the Gophers.  Donnell Kirkland ran for 55 yards and a touchdown and Malcolm Moulton had 4 catches for 72 yards.

Minnesota improve to 1-2 on the season and will host North Dakota State 7pm next Saturday, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:00.
