The University of Minnesota Football program signed 22 players to National Letters of intent on College Football National Signing Day Wednesday.  The lone 4 Star recruit signed by new Minnesota head coach Jerry Kill is Mahtomedia offensive lineman Tommy Olson.  Minnesota also signed 6'5 285 pound offensive lineman Joe Bjorklund of Rosemount, 6'3 205 pound linebacker Peter Westerhaus of Chanhassen and 6'6 215 pound quarterback Max Shortell of Shawnee Mission, Kansas.  This is the first recruiting class for new head coach Jerry Kill.  Many of the recruits signed had verbally committed to former head coach Tim Brewster.
