Gopher Basketball To Open Big Ten Tourney Thursday

The Minnesota Gophers mens basketball team is in Indianapolis today to take on Penn State in the Big Ten Tournament (5:30 on 1390 the Fan).

The Gophers beat the Nittany Lions twice this season, at Penn State on January 8^th by a 68-65 final score and on March 9^th at the Barn by an 81-63 final. Minnesota is 19-12 on the season and 8-10 in Big Ten play.

The Nittany Lions are 15-16 this season and 6-12 in conference play.

The winner of Thursday's game advances to play against Wisconsin Friday evening.
