The Gopher men's basketball team overcame a 9-point 2nd half deficit to defeat Indiana State 76-69 Friday afternoon in the Old Spice Classic Semifinals in Orlando, Florida.  Minnesota trailed by 7 at halftime but finished on a 27-11 run to win the game.  Junior college transfer Julian Welch led the Gophers with 17 points  off the bench and freshman Andre Hollins added 16 points.  Senior forward Trevor Mbakwe had 9 points and 9 rebounds.

Minnesota improves to 6-0 and will play Dayton in the Old Spice Classic Championship at 5:30 Sunday night.
