The Twins beat the Boston Red Sox 9-4 Wednesday night in Grapefruit League action at Hammond Stadium. Minnesota is now 8-6 on the spring.

Kyle Gibson pitched 3 1/3 innings and allowed just one run on two hits and a walk, while striking out seven Red Sox batters. Brian Dozier and Eddie Rosario each had home runs for the Twins to pace the offense.

The Twins will hit the road Thursday night for a game against the Orioles. First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. Central Time.
