Huskies Earn Huge Road Victory Over UND

SCSU-Huskies-hockey-celebrate1GRAND FORKS – The St. Cloud State Huskies men’s hockey team (13-13-1, 7-9-1 NCHC) went on the road and picked up a massive victory over the University of North Dakota  (14-11-3, 7-9-1 NCHC).

The Huskies were out shot 29-19 but still managed to win 3-1 at Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Huskies sophomore goalie Jimmy Smith had a shutout for most of the game until UND got on the board mid way through the 3rd.

The goal scorers for SCSU were freshman Ryan Poehling, sophomore Jacob Benson, and sophomore Jimmy Schuldt.

The Huskies go for the sweep Saturday night at 7:00 p.m., listen to the game live on Rev 96.7.
