SCSU freshman pitcher and former Apollo standout Reese Gregory was among five Huskies named to the All-NSIC team in 2013. Gregory was the only freshman to earn the honor.

Gregory, a 6' righthanded closer, was 1-0 with a 0.35 ERA and nine saves in 26 innings pitched. He struck out 29 batters while walking only three.

Coach Pat Dolan says Gregory has been "amazing" as a freshman in 2013.

Also named to the All-NSIC first team were senior pitcher Scott Leiser (8-3, 3.00 ERA) and junior pitcher Kyle Fischer (9-2, 2.30 ERA). Fischer was also the league's Gold Glove award winner at the pitcher position.

Named to the conference's second team were junior pitcher Chris Kubitz (5-0, 0.00 ERA) and junior first baseman (and twin brother of Kyle) Garrett Fischer (.420 BA, .455 OBP).
