The Gophers fell into too big of a hole on Sunday night against Florida in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. 

 

AUSTIN, TX- The Gophers fell into a 21 point halftime hole and could not recover in a loss to Florida Sunday night. The Gophers end the season with a 21-13 record.

Andre Hollins nearly single-handedly brought the Gophers back in the second half with an impressive shooting performance. Minnesota got within eight points at 60-52 before Florida pulled away for the blowout win. Hollins finished the game with 25 points on 8-13 shooting.

The Gophers shot 40% from the floor and committed 13 turnovers in the loss.
