The Calgary Flames beat the Minnesota Wild 5-1 Wednesday night at the Saddledome. The loss marks only the second time this season that the Wild have lost by more than two goals.

Calgary scored a pair of goals in the first period to make the score 2-0 at the first intermission. Jason Zucker scored for the Wild at 12:40 of the second period to make the score 2-1 after two periods.

The Flames scored three unanswered goals in the third period to pull away for the win.

The Wild play at Vancouver Saturday night. The game can be heard on AM 1240 WJON beginning with the pregame show at 8:45 p.m.
