ST. CLOUD - The College of Saint Benedict hockey team picked up a huge weekend sweep, battling to a 4-2 victory over #7 ranked Gustavus on Saturday.

Coming into this weekend, Gustavus had a 33-0-0 all-time record against CSB.

Gustavus led off the scoring in the action with goals from Amanda Cartony and Courtney Boucher for a 2-0 lead.

The Blazers would strike back in the second and third period, scoring four unanswered goals to pull ahead. Tara Frey, Siri Berg-Moberg, Katie Cristan and Elli Marvin all scored for Saint Ben's.

Jenna Traut had another tremendous game in front of the net for the Blazers, making 34 saves to pick up the win.

The Blazers are now 6-13-0 this season, they return to action at home on Friday night to take on Hamline. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
