The Twins lost their 8th straight game and were swept away by the Cleveland Indians Sunday afternoon.  The final score was 6-5.  The Twins have lost 13 of their last 14 and have the worst record in the American League at 59-92.  Cleveland scored 6 runs in the 7th inning to rally for the win.  Brian Dinkleman went 4-5 with a run scored and 1 RBI and Luke Hughes was 2-5 with 3 runs scored for the Twins.  Carl Pavano allowed 5 hits and 1 earned run in 6 2/3 innings to take the loss and drop to 8-13.

Minnesota will make up for an earlier rain-out with a game in New York against the Yankees at 12:05 today, pregame on WJON at 11:35.  Lefthander Scott Diamond (1-4) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander A.J. Burnett (10-11) toes the rubber for the Yankees.
